Kathy Hedgepath: Director/Teacher: I am so Blessed to be a part of St. Barnabas Christian Preschool for the past 20 years. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have lived in the community for the last 25 years and have three children. Kylie & Kelli (28) and my son Nico (23) was a former student at St. Barnabas. Cary is a wonderful community and the ladies I work with are not only my friends but my family as well!
Chris Mathesius: Administrative Assistant: This is my sixth year at St. Barnabas Christian Preschool.
Both of my girls, Amber(21) and Allison (15) went through the preschool. It was a great foundation for them and I feel so blessed to be back here. My family and I have been members of the church for the past 19 years. I enjoy sewing, traveling, and spending time with my family. I look forward to getting to know all the children and their families.
Amanda Andrews: Assistant Teacher: This is my first year at St. Barnabas. I have lived in Cary for 5 years with my family. St. Barnabas has a special place in my heart since my twins Adalynn and Aiden (age 7) attended. I enjoy hiking, family time, and yoga. I am so excited to be a part of the St. Barnabas family!
Stephanie Fischer: Assistant Teacher: This is my second year at St. Barnabas. My family and I have lived in Cary for 11 years. I have 3 daughters, Hannah (16), Audrey (14), and Jilly (11) attended St. Barnabas. I always wanted to work here and finally I previously worked at Briargate Elementary as a Para Professional. I enjoy exercising and listening to music in my spare time.
Lauren Fruscione: I graduated in 1988 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I was a preschool teacher until 1994 when I got married and then opened my own home daycare center. I have four grown children Erika (25), Nick (24), Ashlee (23), and Michael (21). I left teaching to pursue another career and am so excited to be teaching again! This is my third year at St. Barnabas!
Sue Sakalys: Teacher: I have lived in Cary for the past 23 years. I have two daughters Sarah (31) and Amy (27). I became Assistant Director in April 2017 and am excited for this school year! This is my 23rd year teaching at St. Barnabas. I enjoy reading and working out in my spare time.
Kristy Skerl: Teacher: This is my ninth year teaching the Terrific Two's class. I taught elementary school for four years before starting my family. I have three children Samantha (14) Nathan (12) and Jake (6). They also attended St. Barnabas.
Elizabeth Schuh: Teacher: I am a 1984 Northern Illinois graduate with a degree in Elementary Education.
I have been a Cary resident for 28 years, am married, and have three grown children. I have volunteered for numerous Book Fairs, Ice Cream Socials, and P.T.O. I look forward to teaching at St. Barnabas which has such an excellent reputation in McHenry County!
Paige Wilton: Assistant Teacher: I am married and this is fifth year at St. Barnabas. I have a puppy named Louie who is my baby. My mom Miss Mary taught here for 17 years. I enjoy music and I also teach the Musical Sing-a-Longs at St. Barnabas.
